In the movie "National Treasure", Ben quotes Benjerman Franklin talking about inventing the lightbulb, saying "I found over 500 ways how not to make a lightbulb." That's a similar concept.
This is a very interesting post, and I think I get it, but there is one thing I do not quite understand. Yes, science is all about making mistakes, correcting them, and then learning from them, but if you don't make mistakes and theirfore you're doing it wrong, then how is it possible to ever do it right in science? Is it possible to be right?

AND I MAKE PLENTY OF THEM!!!!!
I get it. What it's saying is that science is a bunch of corrected mistakes.
In science you make mistakes and you have to learn from those mistakes and try to do it right.
