I can't believe an earthquake could do that. It has much more force than i thought.
Wow. I didn't know that Earthquakes could make the day shorter. 1.26 milliseconds seems not a lot and doesn't seem that long but if you calculate it 30 years from now, you will lose about 37 milliseconds. Probably as the years go by we will be living shorter days.
yes!! 1.26 milliseconds more to do my homework...
On a more serious note, that's pretty interesting, to think that sn earthquake that we thought just affected people, reall yaffected the entire planet.
When i heard that the Chile earthquake changed the rotation of the earth and shortened the days by 1.26 milliseconds I was so surprised that had happened i never new that could actually happen like that!
